RAJOURI, June 23: The annual Urs of Syed Muzaffar Hussain Shah, popularly known as Baji Sahib concluded at Barohi village in Rajouri district today.
The five -day annual Urs of Hazrat Sayed Muzaffar Hussain Shah (RA) (Baji Sahib) commenced on June 18 and concluded today on June 23.
During Urs Mubarak, recitation of the holy Quran, prayers and Naat have been held. On this occasion, special prayers were held for the peace and tranquility in the UT of J&K and also in the country.
This Urs is celebrated in the memory of Late Sufi Saint Sayeed Muzaffar Hussain Shah who has been a pious and spiritual personality. His resting place located at Bravi Kalakote, is thronged by thousands of people from across the UT. The 5-day Urs celebrations were conducted by his son Sabzada Sayeed Basharat Hussain Shah.
The Late Sufi Saint Baji Sahib (RA) was a great spiritual personality. His tomb is thronged by thousands of people from all over the northern part of the country during the annual Urs.
