BFDC discusses issues related to forthcoming Navratra festival

JAMMU, Mar 24: Bahu Fort Development Committee (BFDC) held a meeting and discussed various issues related to the forthcoming Navratra festival.
On the occasion, Rafiq Manhas DySP and SDPO East was the chief guest, whereas Gouri Shanker Sharma, DySP Traffic, Kirpal Singh, Curator, Archaeology Department, Subash Verma, Divisional Fire Officer Jammu, Dr MS Khan, Health Officer Jammu, Dr Sanjay Turki, CMO Jammu, BB Sharma, Officer Floriculture Garden and Parks, SHO Bagh-e-Bahu police station Sunil Sharma, Inspector Vikram Singh and Kishore Nagotra, president Rehari Union were also present.
During the meeting, president of the committee Rajeev Charak highlighted various issues including sanitary, street lights, sarai, drinking water, parking and passenger shed.
While speaking, Rafiq Manhas DySP and SDPO East stressed over peace and advised the volunteers of BFDC to deal with the visitors and pilgrims politely.
Dr Sanjay Turki CMO Jammu said that the health facilities will be provided round the clock to the pilgrims during Navratra festival including 24-hours ambulance service.
Dr Mohd Salim Khan, Health Officer Jammu Municipal Corporation assured that sanitary problem and leakage will be resolved soon. He added that passenger shed will be constructed soon.
Hardesh Kumar Khokher, Krishan Lal Sharma and Sourabh Sethi, vice presidents BFDC, Raghav Gupta, general secretary, besides other office bearers of the committee were also present.
