Sham, Manohar ask workers to expose hidden agenda of BJP, PDP

JAMMU/KATHUA, Mar 24: Describing Congress Party as historical movement which has steered the country towards new heights during the past over five decades, Minister for PHE and chairman Election Campaign Committee, Sham Lal Sharma has maintained that party has given numerous sacrifices for the nation and has glorious history of serving people for longest period.
Addressing series of election meetings at Bishnah, Hiranagar, Kalibari and Kathua today, the Minister said that only Congress can provide stable, accountable and transparent governance at the Centre, adding that the party has devised a well-knit strategy to eradicate the poverty and meeting the challenges of unemployment, food security and above all maintaining the communal harmony and integrity of nation.
He said many landmark initiatives have been taken by the UPA regimes which would envision results on ground during the years to come. He urged the workers to take these achievements before the people at the grass root level and seek massive mandate for the  Cong-NC alliance candidates for the Lok Sabha elections.
Referring to the credentials of both the alliance candidates, Ghulam Nabi Azad and Madan Lal Sharma, the Minister said that both the leaders have rich experience. They are leaders of masses who have done lot for the people of India and particularly the State of Jammu and Kashmir. People must support their candidature and send them to Parliament to give a further push to the development initiatives. He asked the workers to expose the divisive design of PDP and BJP who have hidden agenda of dividing the masses in the name of religion, regionalism and communal lines.
Minister of State for Cooperatives Dr Manohar Lal also critised BJP & PDP and asked people to expose these parties.
Prominent among others those who addressed the workers include, MLC, Subash Gupta, former Minister Gulchain Singh Charak, former MLA, Girdhari Lal Chalotra, Senior Vice President National Conference, Kashmir Singh, Kamal Arora, Pankaj Dogra, Harshvardhan Sadhotra, Davinder Singh Bindoo, Rakesh Bhagat, Naresh Sharma and Sardar Khan.
