JAMMU, June 24: Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) general secretary and media head Rajesh Gupta today accused BJP of misleading the country over constitutional safeguards to J&K.
In a press statement issued here today, Gupta demanded restoration of Statehood to J&K before Assembly elections.
“J&K economy suffered worst and developments came to a standstill here after the abrogation of Article 370 but BJP continued with coercive apparatus to silence those who raise voice for justice,” he claimed adding that every section of the society is now suffering.
He said that youth are on roads, border dwellers and traders including shopkeepers and businessmen are bearing the brunt of apathetic and callous attitude of bureaucracy which is ruling the roost in the absence of the elected Government.
