Coalition Govt ensured equitable development: Madan

JAMMU, Mar 25: Congress-National Conference coalition candidate Madan Lal from Jammu Poonch Constituency in public meetings at Janipur and Newplot today said that Coalition Government in the State headed by Omar Abdullah played a significant role in ensuring development in all the regions and in this process it is for the first time Jammu region got its due share in the shape of Administrative units and other developmental programmes.
Lauding the role of Coalition Government Mr. Sharma said that Coalition Government win all Parliamentary seats in the State particularly Jammu Poonch, as both Centre and State Governments has come to the expectations of the people. He said that Central & State Governments has devised and implemented schemes for Urban poor by way of providing them shelter under RGAY, Street Vendors Protection Bill which is applicable for protecting the rights of self employed youths and vendors who earned at their own and are not demanding Government jobs, health cover and check up under National Urban Health Mission.
Mr. Sharma said that Centre had opened the gates of treasure for strengthening and supporting various infrastructural projects and poverty elevation schemes which have developed a confident among the marginalized community who were earlier unheard.  He called upon the people to support Congress for the interest of Jammu and said that he will not let people of Jammu down at any cost.
Maintaining that ensuing elections are being fought by both the alliance partners the MP said that this will auger well for the State and further strengthen the bonds of secularism. Mr. Sharma said that the Country has witnessed tremendous development in all spheres of life under the UPA regime in the past 10 years including in the State of Jammu & Kashmir. He cautioned the people against malicious campaign launched against UPA Government. He said that the politics of the hatred is a dangerous campaign for the country and urged the people to reject the communal and divisive forces.
