UDHAMPUR, Mar 25: A 15-year-old girl committed suicide by hanging at her residence at village Rathian in district Udhampur last night.
A police spokesman said that Madhvi, daughter of Manohar Lal of Rathian was sleeping in a room along with her sister at her home last night. Her mother noticed her body hanging from the ceiling and raised alarm. The other members also rushed and shifted the girl to Udhampur hospital where she was declared as dead. The police registered a case and started investigation. The body after postmortem was handed over to the family.
