JAMMU, Mar 25: Vijay Bakaya, MLC accompanied by M K Yogi, president NC (minority cell) visited Swarn Vihar Housing Colony (SVHC) and held a public meeting to know the grievances of people residing in the Colony.
The residents awared the meeting that area has poor road connectivity with Durga Nagar, black topping of shingled roads, drainage, installation of additional transformers, uninterrupted power supply to tubewell of the Colony etc which the residents have already projected before the concerned department, were discussed with Legislator who assured them to take up these problems with the concerned agencies for early redressal.
Other present on the occasion were M L Peshin, president Swaran Vihar Welfare Association, Sushma Thappar, general secretary of the association, S N Raina, Kuldeep Pandita and B L Bhat.
