JAMMU, Mar 26: An Inter-College poster making and slogan writing competition on the theme “Save the Girl Child” was organized by the Women Cell of the Chenab College of Education Kaluchak, here today.
Students from M C Khalsa College, MIER College, KCS College, R K College, J K College, R M College and Chenab College of Education participated in this competition and exhibited their talent.
Vishal Mengi, Dr Jugal Puri, Prof Virender Gupta, and Kamaldeep Kour, Principal of Chenab College of Education were the adjudicators on the occasion.
In slogan writing competition, Chenab College of Education bagged first place, while R M College bagged second and R K College of Education claimed third spot, while in poster making competition, the 1st position was won by MIER College, 2nd place went to Khalsa College of Education and 3rd spot was claimed by KCS College of Education.
Earlier, Kavita Sambyal, Lecturer presented welcome address.
The prizes and certificates were given to the winners and the participants by the chief guests.
Santosh Slathia, Incharge of Women Cell presented vote of thanks.
