RAMBAN, July 2: Police here today arrested two absconders who were evading their arrests since long.
SSP Ramban constituted special Police teams to apprehend the absconders wanted in various cases and cops from Police Station Ramban apprehended two absconders wanted in case of FIR No. 81/2017 under Section 188/295-A RPC. The arrested absconders were identified as Fareed Ahmed, son of Lal Din, resident of Manzoom, Tehsil Dooru, District Anantnag and Maqsood Ahmed, son of Ghulam Ahmed Butt, resident of Kawa Marag, Tehsil Dooru, District Anantnag.
Both the absconders were evading their arrest with a motive to avoid legal proceedings and General Warrant of Arrest was issued by the Court against them.
Cops from Police Station Ramban arrested the absconders and produced them before the Court in Ramban.
