JAMMU, June 30: To commemorate Bank day falling tomorrow, State Bank of India, New Plot branch, donated ceiling fans to Government Senior Secondary School, Sarwal, under Corporate Social Responsibility Scheme.
Raj Kumar Koul, Branch Manager, SBI, New Plot and Rakesh Raina, Cash Officer, handed over the ceiling fans to BS Jaral, Principal of the school, in presence of bank staff and school faculty.
Raj Kumar Koul, while speaking, elaborated banks role as responsible corporate citizen in fulfilling corporate social responsibilities.
Reiterating their commitment to provide infrastructure to the school on the eve of Bank Day, State Bank of India, Mohalla Janipur, handed over 10 and 6 fans to the authorities of Government Girls High School, Janipur Colony and Government Girls Middle School, New Plot II, respectively.
Krishan Lal Saryara, Branch Manager, SBI, Mohalla Janipur, Subash Chander, Deputy Manager, bank staff members along with school faculty were also present on the occasion.
