SRINAGAR, Mar 27: High Court today directed the Service Selection Board (SSB) to allow 86 candidates to appear in the interview for the post of teacher.
Justice Janak Raj Kotwal passed the direction to the SSB after hearing the writ petition filed by the aggrieved candidates who had challenged the SSB’s revised shortlist published on March 16, 2014.
The petitioners have submitted that the SSB had excluded them in the revised list even as they had appeared in the earlier list published on January 31, 2014 for the interview to the post of teacher.
They had sought that the SSB should be refrained from acting upon the revised shortlist and conduct interviews as per the January 31 shortlist.
