Mubarak Gul voices concern over deteriorating power conditions

SRINAGAR, July 6: Senior leader of National Conference and Incharge Constituency Eidgah, Haji Mubarak Gul presided over a meeting of party workers at NC Eidgah Block Office, Noorbagh, Srinagar.
During the meeting, serious concerns were voiced regarding the worsening power conditions in Sheh-re-Khaas. Issues highlighted included unjustified power cuts, increased tariff rates, and discrepancies in billing related to smart meters potentially overcharging consumers.
Mubarak Gul emphasized the urgency of addressing these issues to ensure fair and efficient power distribution across the city. He also raised alarms over the illegal and unscientific dumping of municipal solid waste, and plastic at the Achan landfill, underscoring the environmental and health hazards posed by such practices. He also stressed upon the importance of sanitation in the Sheh-re-Khaas and advocated for the fumigation process.
Gul urged the administration to take effective and prompt measures to address the situation. The participants present at the meeting expressed their concerns and contributed to discussions on various pressing public issues affecting the community.
