Court grants bail to impersonator in mass copying case

JAMMU, June 30: Special Mobile Magistrate Passenger Tax (Duty Magistrate Jammu), Vijay Singh Manhas today granted bail to impersonator Prabjot Singh and Parvinder Singh, who were caught by Crime Branch while indulging in mass copying in connivance with the Center Superintendent and other staff members at Center No 245, New Model Institute of Education Khir Pind, R S Pura, where examination of mathematic of Class 10th Annual Private was being held.
According to the Crime Branch case, an information from a reliable source was received that one Prabjot Singh, son of Gurdeep Singh of Kotli Shahdowla, R S Pura, was impersonating himself as Parvinder Singh in the examination and some other students were indulging in mass copying in connivance with the Center Superintendent and other staff members deputed by the State Board of School Education.
Accordingly, Crime Branch sleuths swung into action and arrested the impersonator as well as others indulging in mass copying.
