JAMMU, July 8: A two-day training session on CCTNS data management began at Zonal Police Headquarters (ZPHQ) Jammu today.
The session focused on teaching police officers and officials how to properly fill out the court disposal form in the CCTNS Core Application Software (CAS).
This form is crucial for recording details such as Case Number Record (CNR), court trials, and case disposals.
The training aimed to equip participants with the skills needed to accurately manage data in CCTNS CAS after submitting an FIR challan in court.
Accurate data entry is vital for maintaining an efficient and transparent legal process, ensuring quick access to information and reducing reliance on manual records.
The workshop was attended by 11 officers and officials from Range CCTNS Technical Teams, including Inspector Sanjay Koul and ASI Dheeraj Magotra from RPHQs Udhampur, Batote, Jammu, and Rajouri.
Practical exercises were conducted to enhance participants’ understanding of the Court Disposal Form and its compliance with legal requirements.
Digitalizing case disposal records through CCTNS is expected to streamline judicial processes, providing immediate case information access and improving overall efficiency and transparency.
The successful completion of this training marks a significant step in modernizing the police department’s record-keeping and data management.
SO to ADGP Jammu, Vishal Manhas, emphasized the importance of continuous training and support to effectively utilize CCTNS, reinforcing ZPHQ Jammu’s dedication to enhancing personnel skills.
Overall, the session represented a proactive approach to enhancing operational efficiency and accuracy in legal documentation within the Jammu and Kashmir Police Department.
