JAMMU, July 8: Kavinder Gupta, senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister today asked the party workers to convince and encourage supporters to cast their votes for party as every single vote has its own significance.
The senior party functionary said this while chairing a meeting of BJP’s Jammu district unit comprising Jammu East and Jammu West constituencies.
He said that Assembly polls are on cards and therefore the senior leaders of the party are required to work in double-shift to sensitize the masses about the necessity to bring BJP to power in the Union Territory with decisive mandate. He said that it has become a universal truth that only BJP can ensure selfless service to the countrymen whether it is Rajasthan State, MP, UP or J&K, and therefore the party workers should enlighten each and every voter in the region to make it sure that not even a single vote becomes redundant by going in favour of party’s opponents, which are known for their dynastic nature, and other conflicting stances.
Kavinder categorically said that the onus of resounding victory of BJP in Jammu lies on the shoulders of ground level workers and therefore they should start toiling hard to ensure thumping majority of the party in J&K.
The former Deputy CM urged every party member to work tirelessly, from assisting in the creation of voting cards for new electorates to ensuring their presence at polling booths on the election day.
Earlier at the outset of the meeting, Parmodh Kapahi, district president, BJP Jammu apprised the senior functionaries of the party about the working and functioning of the party.
