JAMMU, July 8: Kashmiri Pandits including life members of All State Kashmiri Pandit Conference (ASKPC), the premier organisation of the community, KP intellectuals, prominent people and heads of various socio-political organisations held a one day convention here, today to rejuvenate and strengthen ASKPC.
The convention was presided by ASKPC Marg Darshak, Moti Lal Malla, a veteran KP leader.
The meeting alleged that ASKPC failed to have a representative character as organisation did not held elections for over last three years hence its rejuvenation is need of the hour.
After threadbare discussions a resolution was passed that an Adhoc Body already framed will start a membership drive for updating the old, outdated and obsolete voter list so that the election for ASKPC be held as early as possible. District coordinators were asked to launch membership drive.
It was also decided that without any further delay the Adhoc Body should start functioning as per the expectations of the community.
