SAMBA, July 9: Security has been beefed up in Samba after the terrorist attack in Doda and Kathua district.
In this connection, a massive search operation was conducted in the border area of Samba on Tuesday evening which was headed by SP Garu Ram Bhardwaj of the SOG of Jammu Kashmir Police. The search operation started from the border village Lala Chak and was completed in villages Malani, Bai River, Raghuchak, Gujjar Malani.
The entire area was searched by the security forces and security was well tightened. At the same time, the security forces also made the people living in the village aware that if any suspicious object or person is seen in the area, then immediately inform the security forces so that any major incident can be prevented in time.
SP Garu Ram Bhardwaj said that today a search operation was conducted in collaboration with the local police. “Today we have searched all such possible areas from where the possibility of infiltration has been expressed’’. He also said that such search operations also create a trust among the people towards the security forces so that the local people remain alert beforehand and can share information with the security forces on time.
