RAJOURI, July 9: Police apprehended an absconder, who was evading arrest for the last 14 years.
Identified as Mohd Kabir, son of Feroz Din, resident of village Saj, Tehsil Thannamandi of District Rajouri, the accused was wanted in case FIR number 75/2011, under section 457/380 RPC. A general warrant of arrest U/S 512 CrPC was issued against him by the court in 2011.
A team of Police Station Rajouri, under the supervision of SHO Rajouri Aejaz Ahmed Wani, arrested the absconding accused from Sarano area of Rajouri.
