ANANTNAG, July 10: In a heartening display of compassion and dedication, Anantnag Police have gone above and beyond the call of duty to ensure the well-being and safety of Pilgrims during the ongoing Amarnath Yatra. The police personnel have shown extraordinary commitment through various acts of kindness and support.
A police party from Police Post Holy Cave distributed drinking water to thirsty yatris, providing much-needed relief from the scorching heat. Meanwhile, a team from Police Post Panjtarni assisted a struggling Yatri in climbing onto a horse, swiftly intervening to offer support.
In another demonstration of their dedication, Anantnag Police carried yatris unable to walk on their shoulders, provided medical assistance by transporting them to nearby hospitals and continued to offer drinking water throughout the journey.
These selfless actions by Anantnag Police are a testament to their unwavering commitment to serving the community and ensuring the safety and comfort of all devotees undertaking the sacred journey.
