REASI, July 10: The 62nd Foundation Day of Bharat Vikas Parishad (BVP) was celebrated here today.
The day is also celebrated at the birth anniversary of its founder Suraj Parkash.
On this occasion, a bhandara for patients and their attendants was organised at District Hospital Reasi.
District Administration, Reasi highly appreciated the efforts of BVP in promoting the moral and ethical values & inculcate patriotism amongst the youths.
They also recognize the selfless services by BVP for the betterment of society at large especially APNI BETIYAN Program in which so far 153 poor and orphan girls from all sections of society and from lengths and breadths of the district were provided marriage assistance.
Among others who were present during the event included Jagdish Sharma, Raj Singh, Vinod Sharma, Nand Kishore Sharma, Krishan Lal Bali, Karan Dev Singh, Maheshwer Singh, T. R. Puri, Tilak Raj Sharma, Romesh Bali, Lalit Bali, Brij Mohan Sharma, MadanLal Bali, Prithviraj, Som Raj Bali, Jai Ram Verma and others.
