JAMMU, July 11: Hotel & Restaurant Association Katra (HRAK) President Rakesh Wazir called on Divisional Commissioner, Jammu Ramesh Kumar and apprised him about the alleged irregularities at Ban Toll Plaza.
“The Toll Plaza has become the hub of irregularities and once again a free for all situation has arisen over there wherein keeping aside all the previous orders, letters, guidelines issued from time to time by Deputy Commissioners, Project Directors and other Authorities, local passes are being denied to the eligible people on one pretext or the other,” he said.
While elaborating, he explained that resident of Katra and adjoining areas, whose residences fall within 20 km distance for issuing of local passes, are being stopped on regular occasions on one pretext or the other by Ban Toll Plaza contractor.
