POONCH, Mar 29: District Education authorities organised a large anti-tobacco rally in the township of Poonch here today.
The students from about a half a dozen schools of the town, assembled at Kunsar and started massive awareness rally against the use of tobacco. The students were carrying banners and placards depicting slogans.
CEO Poonch A H Fani, Zonal Education Officer Ghulam Hussain and ZEPO, Bansi Lal Sharma were leading the awareness rally. The rally passed through many localities and markets of the city and then culminated at Krishan Chander Park. Where several persons including CEO addressed the gathering. There was great enthusiasm among the students and they also shouted slogans for educating to the masses against the use of tobacco, which is very harmful for the health.
