MMABM Hospital to add more registration counters

Srinagar, July 11: To cater to the increased patient rush, the Principal of GMC Anantnag, Prof. Dr. Rukhsana Najeeb, today ordered the setting up of one more OPD and IPD registration counter at MMABM Hospital, Janglatmandi.
Dr. Rukhsana issued these directions during a detailed inspection and surprise visit to various sections of the hospital this morning.
“She gave on-the-spot instructions for the opening of one more OPD and IPD registration counter in view of the huge footfall of patients,” the GMC spokesperson said.
During her visit, she inspected all OPD sections, including Medicine, Surgery, ENT, Ophthalmology, Orthopaedics, and Psychiatry, which were functioning routinely. She also examined the USG section, X-ray unit and Central Laboratory.
In addition, the Principal performed a thorough inspection and assessment of the Casualty Ward, which houses emergency patients, including the Amarnath yatris.
Dr. Rukhsana took the opportunity to interact with patients and their attendants to gather first-hand information about the quality of services provided by the hospital, the spokesperson said.
The Principal also visited the electric department and conducted a detailed assessment of various issues, while issuing instructions for an uninterrupted power supply.
She also issued directives to the concerned officials to carry out necessary repairs and ensure the upkeep of the hospital premises. The Principal was accompanied by the Deputy Medical Superintendent, Casualty Medical Officers, and other officials.
