Nar Hari Singh, leading Advocate on Record Supreme Court of India, was the resource person on third day of FDP, being conducted by Research and Development Cell of the Asian Law School from July 8 to July 15, 2024.
Singh explained all the important amendments incorporated in Bhartiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita “BNSS” (old Code of Criminal Procedure). He stressed particularly on amendments in investigation procedures carried out by police and bail provisions. The transformative change in the legislative landscape requires all legal stakeholders to get acquainted them with new laws and their nuances in the administration of justice,” he said.
The Asian Law School thanked Singh for sharing his valuable thoughts and explaining in detail the nuances of the amendments in new laws.
