JAMMU, July 12: Shiv Sena (UBT) J&K Unit leaders here today torched the effigy of Pakistan for repeated ceasefire violations and increase in terrorist activities and demanded a complete end to all relations and agreements with the evil neighbour.
The protest was led by Shiv Sena J&K chief, Manish Sahni and the protesters were holding placards with anti-Pak slogans written on them.
Addressing the protesters, Sahni mentioned about terrorist attacks in mountains and forest areas of Kathua, Rajouri, Poonch, Reasi, Doda and Kashmir.
“In the last 18 months, 40 terrorist incidents have taken place in Jammu division in which many soldiers and civilians have lost their lives,” he maintained appealing to PM Modi that BCCI should not send Indian cricket team to Lahore to play a match with Pakistan in the upcoming ICC Champion Trophy.
The Shiv Sena leader also demanded cancelation of Indus Water Treaty with Pakistan.
Meenakshi Chhibber, president Shiv Sena Women Wing; Vikas Bakshi, general secretary; Balwant Singh, vice president; Raj Singh, president Kamghar Wing; Sukhveer Singh, Ravi Bishnoi, Prem Kumar, Shibam Raina, Parshottam, Narendra Kumar, Sahil, Jagbir and many others were also present in the protest.
