KISHTWAR, July 12: Police here today booked a most wanted notorious drug peddler from Kishtwar Town under PITNDPS and lodged him in District Jail Kishtwar.
SSP Kishtwar, while sharing details in this regard said the accused Muzaffer Hussain alias Dagga, son of Mehraj-Ud-Din, resident of Om Mehta Road, Kishtwar was kingpin supplying drugs to the youth in Kishtwar Town and his involvement in numerous drug peddling cases was uncovered during investigations, necessitating his detention under PITNDPS to protect the youth of Kishtwar from drug addiction.
After obtaining PITNDPS orders, SSP Kishtwar constituted a special team under the supervision of Dy. SP Hqrs Kishtwar to arrest the drug peddler.
SSP Kishtwar warned the drug syndicates, asserting that there is no place for them in Kishtwar and urged them to return to mainstream or face severe consequences.
