Srinagar, July 12: Police in Baramulla today arrested an absconder who had been evading arrest for the last four years.
Authorities stated that a police party from Police Station Boniyar arrested Feroz Ahmad Khan, son of Gh Mohammad, resident of Zehanpora Boniyar.
Khan, police said, is allegedly involved in case FIR No. 12/2020 under Sections 498-A, 147, 34, and 506 IPC of Police Station Boniyar.
The police further stated, “A warrant for his arrest was issued by the Court of JMIC Boniyar. He was produced before the Court and subsequently lodged in District Jail Baramulla.”
