JAMMU, July 12: The Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC) of Jammu Power Distribution Corporation Limited (JPDCL) has cleared promotions of Technician-III (divisional/district cadre) as Technician-II (divisional cadre) in the Pay Level-4.
Meanwhile, Provincial Power Employees Union (PPEU) has hailed the JPDCL Managing Director Vikas Kundal and Chief Engineer JPDCL/Chairman DPC Manhar Gupta for the promotions conceding long pending demand of the power employees.
The PPEU meeting held under the chairmanship of Shakti Gupta was attended among others by Sanjeev Bali, president, Anay Gupta, press secretary, Pankaj Sharma, Tarun Gupta, Satpal, Darshan Kumar, Ram Lal, Kumod, Suresh, Supinder Kumar, Munish Chib and Gurdeep Bhalla.
