JAMMU, July 13: The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) Peer Review Board in collaboration with J&K Branch of NIRC of ICAI here today organized a one day training programme to enhance the quality and reliability of chartered accountancy practices through Peer Review.
CA Charanjot Singh Nanda, Vice President ICAI was chief guest and in his address he highlighted the pivotal role of Peer Review in maintaining the highest standards of professional excellence and integrity within the profession.
The programme also featured CA (Dr.) Raj Chawla, Vice Chairman of Peer Review Board, who emphasized the importance of adhering to best practices in Peer Review to ensure the credibility and accuracy of financial reporting.
The seminar commenced with an inaugural address by CA Sourav Pargal, Vice Chairman J&K Branch after which CA Jatin Malhotra, Member J&K Branch took the stage, initiating proceedings and guiding participants through key aspects of the subject.
The sessions by guest speakers CA Kamal Garg and CA Jatin Tagra covered a wide range of topics pertinent to Peer Review, offering practical insights and expert guidance that will undoubtedly benefit the attendees in their professional endeavours.
CA Priya Seht, Secretary along with senior members and several Chartered Accountants were also present in the training.
