JAMMU, Mar 30: Prof (Dr) Yog Raj Sharma, eye surgeon in vireo-retinal surgery, who belongs to Rehari in Jammu and is pass- out from SRML Higher Secondary School, Parade Ground has been appointed as the chief of Dr Rajendra Prasad Centre for Ophthalmic Sciences, All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi.
Dr Sharma will be advisor to the Government of India and Director-WHO designated Ophthalmic Centre for South East Asia. He has been helping all patients from J&K and the rest of the country to his best. He has been faculty member at AIIMS since 1986.
He remained Assistant Director – Indian Council of Medical Research. He also remained senior Resident – Retina Unit at PGI Chandigarh.
