JAMMU, July 16: JKPCC president Vikar Rasool Wani has asked party cadre to gear up for elections as the BJP has accepted defeat, and disempowered the institution of elected government in J&K in anticipation of non- BJP govt after Assembly elections.
” BJP has accepted defeat before elections as it took this step at the fag end before Assembly elections after realizing & getting inputs from all quarters that it can’t enter corridors of power in J&K by any means. Elections is a compulsion for them after the Supreme Court order,” Wani said.
PCC chief said this while chairing a review meeting with senior party functionaries of PCC and DCC presidents besides frontal wings and others to take stock of the current situation.
The meeting criticised the dictatorial order of Centre, disempowering the elected institution of CM and Govt in Jammu and Kashmir. What necessitated this just before elections when PM during Yoga visit indicated restoration of State without any time frame but that appears to be a Jumla to hoodwink people before elections, as intention of BJP and Centre has come out clear.
Working president Raman Bhalla said that BJP wants a puppet government in J&K and has accepted the defeat before elections as it has centralised all powers in Lt Governor just before Assembly elections realizing that non BJP government will take over reigns of powers in J&K.
BJP has betrayed people of J&K by making false promises regarding early restoration of Statehood and holding Assembly elections. Now the Supreme Court has fixed a deadline, BJP has disempowered the future Government because they can’t delay the Assembly elections.
