JPBEF distributes eatables, stationery among inmates of Home for Handicaps

JAMMU, July 17: To celebrate the Nationalization of Banking sector, Jammu Province Bank Employees’ Federation (JPBEF) today organized a function at Red Cross sponsored Home for Handicaps, near KK Resorts, Bohri in Jammu.
The function was attended by various public figures and Bank men which included Tara Singh (president of the Federation), general secretary Arun Kumar Gupta and Ashwani Pradhan (general secretary, State All India Bank Officers Association).
During the function, the Federation has organized some entertainment and eatables for all the inmates of the Home for Handicaps. The Home has presently about 65 deaf-dumb and specially abled children. Considering their educational needs, JPBEF distributed some reading material, stationery and associated things like pens, pencils, etc to all the inmates in the presence of Satish Kumar Sharma (secretary of the Home) and Archana Devi (teacher and warden).
The Federation also decided to assess their other educational needs which shall be attended in due course of time. It was also assured to Home to conduct more such programs in future also.
