MLA Rajouri seeks vote for Madan

JAMMU, Mar 31: Former Minister and MLA Rajouri              Shabir Khan while conducting a series of meetings at Dheri Dhara, Dabrote, Bhimber Ki Gali (BG) and Dheri Ralyote asked the people to come under one umbrella to ensure the win of coalition candidate Madan Lal Sharma.
He said that Congress is committed for overall development of all the three regions of the State especially hilly, backward, remote and border areas.
Khan appealed people to vote and support Congress and afford another opportunity to UPA so that roots of secularism, economic stability, peace and prosperity are strengthened besides nefarious designs of scraping Article 370 are thwarted so that forces inimical to peace and tranquility are kept at bay in the interest of nation.
He urged the people to remain vigilant against the machinations of the parties like BJP and PDP, whose main agenda is to polarise the situation and benefit from division in the society. He said their main plank during the ensuing elections would be to divide the masses.
Khan said that Ghulam Nabi Azad’s historical decisions ranging from creation of eight new districts, implementation of Roshni Act, opening of Poonch-Rawalakote road, Mughal Road, construction of Yatri Niwas, Haj House, and enactment of stringent Anti Corruption Laws are enough to sustain the claims that Azad possesses a competent and visionary foresight.
