REASI, Apr 1: Additional Deputy Commissioner, Reasi, Rajinder Singh Tara today convened a meeting of district officers and prominent citizens to review the arrangements for celebration of 3-day historic Dera Baba Baisakhi Festival commencing from April 12, 2014 at holy shrine of Dera Banda Bhadur.
Chief Medical Officer Reasi, Executives Engineers PWD, PDD and PHE, Tehsildar, ARTO, ASP, AD Tourism, members of Dera Baba Management Committee besides others were also present in the meeting.
It was decided in the meeting that PHE Department would ensure drinking water while Municipality authorities were directed to ensure cleanliness of the venue besides first aid by Health Department. The PDD would ensure uninterrupted power supply during the Mela days. Likewise, Police was asked to ensure foolproof security arrangements during the mela.
Other issues related to transport facilities, supply of ration, deployment of fire tender were also discussed in the meeting.
Additional Deputy Commissioner called upon the officers to put in place all arrangements pertaining to their respective departments well in time.
