JAMMU, July 22: National Conference Lok Sabha member from Srinagar Aga Syed Ruhullah Mehdi will be submitting a private member’s bill in the Lok Sabha seeking to enforce, implement and promote complete prohibition of liquor and intoxicants in Jammu and Kashmir.

“I hope the bill gets tabled in the Parliament during this session or the next. I also hope to get the support of fellow Parliamentarians to get this bill passed,” Mehdi said in a post.
National Conference with two members in the Lok Sabha is part of INDIA bloc.
