JAMMU, Apr 2: Jammu University Vice-Chancellor Prof Mohan Pal Singh Ishar today launched an online GPF information facility for Faculty and Officers in the university.
The software ensures foolproof confidentiality of the staff who can download latest and updated GPF statement by just logging in on to JU website with their username and password.
Speaking on the occasion, the VC said that the online process would not only be cost effective but would also reduce the workload on the staff in the Budget and Finance section and bring about a transparency.
The VC complimented Guneet Singh Sudan, Incharge, Centre for IT Enabled Services & Management and his staff for developing this solution and stressed upon to continue efforts to deliver additional features and convenience to employees through online employee self service.
Jai Kumar Sharma, Special Secretary to VC; Imran Farooq, PRO; Vinod Parihar, Asst Programmer; Akhilesh Sharma, Liaison Officer; . Manoj Chauhan, Asst Programmer and Ashwani Bakshi were also present on the occasion.
