JAMMU, July 23: The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved an extension for the upgraded post of Joint Secretary & Financial Advisor to the level of Additional Secretary & Financial Advisor in the Ministry of Women & Child Development, currently held by Nitishwar Kumar.

His term will now extend until September 30, 2025.
Nitishwar Kumar previously served as Principal Secretary to the Lieutenant Governor during his deputation in Jammu and Kashmir.
