DODA, July 24: The Cybercrime Investigation Unit (CCIU) of Jammu and Kashmir Police (JKP) in Doda District has recovered Rs 1, 09, 898 (1.09 lakh) in the month of July from the online fraudsters.
Sharing details, a J&K Police official said that the CCIU Doda received six complaints from Farhan Ahmed Dev, Mohammad Sehran, Faheem Nisar, Salinder Kumar, Mohammad Ameen Malik, and Tabinda Wani during the current month.
He said during the course of investigation into all the complaints, the CCIU team exhibited hectic efforts and using advanced technical skills, recovered Rs 1, 09, 898 from the online fraudsters.
It is important to mention that ever since CCIU Doda has been established on February 7, 2024, it has recovered a total of Rs 24, 47, 453 from the fraudsters.
