JAMMU, Apr 2: A BEd student hailing from Bihar delivered a male baby in the moving train near Bari-Brahmana.
According to SP Railways Shiv Kumar Sharma, a pregnant woman hailing from Bihar boarded Archana Express, which ply from Patna to Jammu to attend her paper in a college at Talab Tillo, Jammu was travelling along with her family members including husband.
The woman developed complication and delivered a male baby near Bari-Brahmana, he added.
As the train approached Bari-Brahmana platform, the GRP personnel rushed to the spot and rushed the baby and the mother to a nearby hospital in Ambulance, SP stated.
The condition of mother and her baby was stated to be stable, he added.
