JAMMU, Apr 2: The Jammu provincial committee of All J&K Low Paid Employees Federation (LPEF) will organize a massive rally in Jammu on the eve of May Day to pay tributes to the martyrs and to highlight various burning grievances of employees and pensioners of the State.
The decision was taken by the Committee, which met here today under the presidentship of Basharat Hussain of Rajouri.
State president of the Federation, Abdul Majid Khan, in his address attacked the State Government for maintaining silence over the long pending demands of the State employees and pensioners and its anti-working class policies.
The speakers also highlighted various demands including immediate release of 10% DA installment from January 2014 in cash and payment of 3rd installment of 6th CPC arrears.
They also urged all the employees and pensioners of the State to participate in the rally in large number to make it result oriented.
