KATHUA, Apr 2: The students of BA, BSc & BCom part Third have demanded re-examination for the papers of Physics and Economics in Kathua district the examinations of which were held on March 28 when the National Highway was closed for vehicular traffic due to Fidayeen attack at Dayala Chak and Kathua.
The students also held a protest demonstration in the town and after met the Deputy Commissioner and apprised him of the problem.
The DC assured them that the issue will be taken up with the Controller of Examinations University of Jammu. The protesting students criticized the University authorities for their failure in taking a decision till date in this regard. They said they were supposed to take the decision on the same day or next day as majority of students could not take examinations while others reported one hour late of scheduled time.
