IMS Jammu collaborates with CT University Ludhiana

JAMMU, July 25: Under MoE’s Innovation Council, IMS Jammu collaborated with CT University, Ludhiana for promoting entrepreneurial ecosystem in the Institute.
A delegation from CT University visited IMS College under a mutually beneficial agreement to advise the Innovation Cell of the institute in creating awareness regarding various schemes of AICTE and MoE’s innovation council and their impact on student development.
Sanjay Khanduri, Director of Planning and Skill Development and Vasu Tandon, Project Officer, both from CT University visited the IMS College.
Dr Meenakshi Sharma, Director of IMS, provided an overview of the IIC cell’s mission, goals, and its role in fostering innovation among students. She emphasized the cell’s commitment to transforming student ideas into tangible innovations.
Er Divya Jamwal, Coordinator of the Management Department, presented a comprehensive report detailing the IIC cell’s activities from August 2023 to June 2024. The presentation encompassed a wide range of initiatives, including celebration activities IIC activities, MIC activities and self-driven activities. The report also highlighted the significance of the Impact Lecture Series, Mentor-Mentee Program and IIC Quarterly Meetings in supporting student growth.
Following the presentation, an open forum for discussion was held which was attended by Chief Coordinator, Nidhi Jamwal, coordinators of Management and Computer Department and all the faculty members.
The meeting provided an opportunity to explore potential avenues for further enhancing student support and development. The meeting concluded on a positive note, with Sanjay Khanduri expressing satisfaction with the IIC cell’s progress and its potential to contribute to student success. The management of IMS College, Vidhi Singh Jamwal, Chairman Jamwal Group; Vice Chairman, Shiv Dev Singh Jamwal and Managing Director, Renu Bangroo, expressed satisfaction over providing various opportunities to the young students for a better tomorrow.
