RAJOURI, July 26: The dead body of a youth was found lying near the river, under mysterious circumstances in Nowshera area today.
The police identified the deceased as Karan Bakshi, 27, son of Satish Bakshi, a resident of Rehari, Jammu. Some people saw his body lying under mysterious circumstances near the river in Nowshera and informed police.
The police reached the spot and after examining the body and the spot, shifted it to SDH Nowshera.
Dr Iqbal Malik, Block Medical Officer (BMO) Nowshera, confirmed that Karan Bakshi was brought to the hospital as dead. After conducting post-mortem, the body was handed over to the family.
The police has registered a case in this connection.
