Srinagar, Apr 3: A Lab technician was found hanging in Khanyar area of Srinagar district on Wednesday evening.
A police spokesman said Farooq Ahmed Bhat, 34, son of Ali Mohammad Bhat of Kalashpora, Srinagar, was found hanging from a fan in a clinic (New Scientific Lab) at Khanyar near Gousiya Hospital Khanyar.
“Police has taken the cognizance to ascertain the cause of death,” the spokesman said.
