Chugh dares NC to create nineties like situation

JAMMU, July 27: The BJP national general secretary and J&K Prabhari, Tarun Chugh today warned the National Conference (NC) MP from Srinagar Lok Sabha seat Agha Syed Ruhulla Mehdi not to create terror among the people of J&K by saying that situation like 1990 will be repeated in Kashmir.

Tarun Chugh who is on the 15 days tour of J&K was talking to reporters here, today. He said Dr Farooq Abdullah was Chief Minister of J&K and Mufti Mohammed Sayeed was Home Minister of India during 1990 but now Narendra Modi is Prime Minister and Amit Shah is Home Minister of India. Don’t mistake to think about repeating 1990, he added.
“Never think about that we know how the safety and security of people can be ensured. This statement shows the mental bankruptcy of National Conference (NC) leaders, he added.
Chugh said that the Congress, NC, and PDP trio is responsible for militancy in J&K.  The former PM, Dr Manmohan Sigh of Congress laid red carpet for top militants including Yasin Malik who was responsible for killing of three Air Force officers in Kashmir. He pointed out that in 1990 when militancy raised its ugly head and pushed out Kashmiri Pandit from Valley at that time Dr Abdullah was Chief Minister, Mufti Mohammed Sayeed was Home Minister and they were responsible for massacre of Kashmiri Pandits and Sikhs in the Valley.
He said that BJP is always ready for elections and Assembly election in J&K will be announced by Election Commission of India.
On the occasion senior leader and former Dy CM, Dr Nirmal Singh, Ex Minister, Rajiv Jasrotia and senior leader Th Ranjit Singh were present.
Earlier Chugh held meetings with party leaders from three Assembly segments of Samba and took the stock of the party activities in the district.
He was accompanied by party general secretary and former Minister, Dr D K Manyal and other senior leaders including former Ministers Chander Parkash Ganga, Surjit Singh Salathia, party Prabhari Samba Narain Singh and other leaders.
He said people of J&K are with Modi’s mission of zero tolerance on terrorism and zero tolerance on corruption. He accused the three families of conspiracy to destroy J&K but now the people of UT have seen through their game-plan and they have rejected these dynasties.
Chugh on 15 the fifth day of his tour of J&K said people of UT are happy with the development module started by Modi Government and Rs five lakh under Ayushman Bharat has been widely welcomed by people. The development projects like two AIIMS, IIT, IIM revolution in industry sector and road infrastructure is going to change the fate of the people in J&K, he added.
