RAJOURI, July 28: A 20-years-old girl died after falling from the speeding bike in Kewal area under Budhal Police jurisdiction of Rajouri district on Sunday.
Information received here said that a motorcycle with registration number JK11A- 713 was going from Dhar Sakri village of Kotranka tehsil towards Kundardhan area of Mahore in Reasi district. The girl was a pillion rider on it, while her relative was driving it.
When the motorbike reached the Kewal area, near Budhal, suddenly the girl namely- Saima Kausar, daughter of Mohammad Younis, resident of Dhar Sakri, fell down from the speeding bike and got head injury. She was taken to CHC Kandi for treatment, where the doctor declared her as `brought dead’, BMO Kandi Dr Vinod Bhat said.
The police has taken cognizance of the matter and registered FIR at Police Station, Budhal, SHO Budhal Mohd Rashad said. After completing the post-mortem and other legal formalities, the body has been handed over to the family.
