GMA, A&A Dealers demand swift action against fraudulent gun license racket

JAMMU, July 28: The Gun Manufacturing Association (GMA) Jammu along with the Arms & Ammunition Dealers of Jammu and Kashmir have called for stringent measures against those involved in the recent forged gun license scandal uncovered in Jammu.
They emphasized that such illegal activities pose serious risks to public safety and damage the credibility of the arms and ammunition industry. Both the associations stressed that the individual implicated in this illegal operation is not connected to their registered dealers. They expressed concern over the negative impact these actions have on the industry’s reputation and reiterate their commitment to upholding the highest ethical standards and ensuring lawful and transparent operations.
In their statement, the GMA and A&A Dealers urged law enforcement to act decisively and swiftly against those responsible for the fraudulent activities, emphasizing the necessity for strict adherence to legal processes and responsible firearms management by all industry stakeholders.
