Issue of water-power supply raised in Shiv Sena public meeting

JAMMU, July 28: Shiv Sena (UBT) J&K unit here today organized a public meeting in Ward No. 28, Bakshi Nagar area and listened to the problems of the people and assured them every possible effort to resolve them.
On this occasion, about two dozen people joined Shiv Sena and J&K Shiv Sena chief, Manish Sahni announced Jammu city unit by appointing Rohan Malwal as president; Munish Anand, vice-president; Deepak Sharma, secretary and Vishal Kumar, general secretary.
Most of the people present on the occasion expressed anguish over power-water crisis, hike in electricity bills and increase in criminal incidents in Jammu.
Manish Sahni said that people of J&K are entitled to free electricity and water and Shiv Sena will give them this right.
‘Sankalp Patra’ based on people’s aspirations was distributed and an appeal was made to all to support Shiv Sena (UBT) in the upcoming elections.
Shiv Sena Women Wing president, Meenakshi Chhibber; general secretary, Vikas Bakshi; vice president, Sanjeev Kohli; president Labour Wing, Raj Singh; Shami and Manu Verma were also present on the occasion.
