REASI, July 28: Police arrested a notorious drug peddler and recovered eight grams of heroin like substance from his possession, here today.
The accused, identified as Sumesh Bhat, son of Pintuji Bhat, resident of Nagrota, was riding a bike without number plate when he was stopped during routine naka checking on the Reasi-Arnas Road.
During frisking of the accused, eight grams of heroin like substance was recovered from his possession. Police arrested the accused and registered a case in this connection under sections 8/21/22 of the NDPS Act at Police Station Reasi.
