Bhajan Sandhya, Bharatnatyam delight people during Shravan Mahotsav

JAMMU, July 29: Bhajan Sandhya, Bharatnatyam, drew huge number of devotees and music enthusiasts during ongoing Shravan Mahotsav -2024 Series at the historic Panjvaktra Mahadev Mandir here today.
The devotional evening featured renowned artists who mesmerized the audience with their performances.
The program commenced with a soulful performance by Dr. Jasmeet Kaur, a distinguished classical singer and daughter of the renowned singer Sudarshan Kaur Keerti.
As a disciple of the celebrated classical vocalist Pandit Rajan Sajan Mishra, Dr. Jasmeet Kaur’s melodious voice captivated the audience, creating an atmosphere of spirituality and bliss.
Her performance not only honored her esteemed lineage but also showcased her own remarkable talent and dedication to classical music.
Pankaj Pradhan, another acclaimed classical singer of the soil, disciple of V.S. Sambyal and Guru B.S. Bali, further enhanced and enriched the evening.
His rich, resonant voice and emotive renditions immersed the audience in profound devotion and peace.
The performances accompanied by the melodic tunes of Guru Ashutosh Sharma on Harmonium, Guru Parshotam Kumar on Pakhawaj, Dr. Vinay on Tabla, and Rakesh Jasotra on Flute.
The evening reached its crescendo with a mesmerizing Bharatnatyam performance by the talented Pallabi Das Ghosh.
Her graceful movements and expressive artistry beautifully complemented the devotional music, leaving the devotees spellbound.
Speaking on the occasion, Suresh Kumar Sharma (Retd. Session Judge) and Receiver of Panjvaktra Mahadev Mandir, expressed his delight at the overwhelming response from the devotees.
Among others who were present on the occasion included members of the Shri Kailakh Jyotish Avim Vedic Sansthan Trust, including Mahant Rohit Shastri and K K Sharma.
